The Murray River Group of Councils has spoken up for northern Victorian communities at the Murray Darling Basin Ministerial Council Round Table in Mildura.
At last night’s meeting, Chair Cr Adrian Weston and Cr Glenn Milne represented the Group and engaged directly with water Ministers from the Commonwealth and Basin State Governments.
The Murray River Group of Councils urged all Basin State Ministers to ensure a sensible balance between consumptive use of water and the environment to secure the long term prosperity of our vibrant, unique communities and landscape.
